Good game but quirky.

I like Spider Solitaire. It'due south not the fanciest game ever merely it'south reliable and swell for winding down.
Information technology does have little quirks, for example the game will ever send the card you click on to the cavalcade on the furthest left. That ways that if you have two stacks forming and the one on the right needs a red ace to leave, and the ane on the left needs an ace and a king, if you click on the cherry ace it volition go to the stack on the left. Yous merely have to sentry out for that.

Enjoy the app but ...

I enjoy using this app, mainly playing full deck solitaire. I find it a little frustrating as information technology does things I don't expect such every bit putting a carte on a heap I don't necessarily want it on. For example, in a column I might take a scarlet Rex and Queen. In another column I might have a single blood-red Queen. When I click the red Jack in a third colum it puts information technology on the unmarried queen when surely the purpose of the game is to build a accommodate. It'south a nice game just not e'er as intuitive every bit I might like or expect. I would still recommend the game and it was good to find one in the app store to supersede the costless game I had with windows previously.

No clue on design / implementation

Depending on the game you're playing, the UX is apalling. Huge amounts of stupid wasted space, and then the cards are then crowded they vanish off the lesser of the screen.

On-screen 'buttons' respond to a mouse pointer being dragged over information technology (despite the click consequence happening no where near it) which ways when trying to move some of these cards that are vanishing off the lesser of the screen (where a stupid 'toolbar' is fixed) resets the game!

Despite repeated polite emails highlighting many bugs to the 'back up' contacts, no reply was given and no updates have been forthcoming.

The layout doesn't even scale correctly ie. if you lot make the window narrower the cards don't resize / scale, instead you lose them off the side. Same for height.

It does give y'all the option to change the size of the cards (large/pocket-size) simply the small is apallingly small, and the big, whilst readable ways that because of the crazy amount of wasted space, you can't see most of the cards when in stacks (playing Spider 4).
